About me

Welcome to my blog! I’m Sadie Van Vranken, a high school student from Denver, CO and I’m spending the next year in Rabat, Morocco on a US State Department Scholarship called YES Abroad. My love for language and culture started when I was ten, when I did a six month exchange to Colombes, France and lived with a French host family. Ever since, I’ve loved the experience of exploration and been passionate about bridging gaps through increased global understanding. After my gap year, I’ll be attending Princeton University.

This blog is dedicated to my experiences and thoughts while I’m in Morocco. It does not represent the opinions of the US Department of State, YES Abroad, or AMIDEAST. Feel free to comment with questions!

You can find more about the program I did when I was ten at  http://enfamilleusa.com/ It’s awesome!
